Today I am thankful for knowledge. For the ability to learn something new every day, as well as having a formal education. Being born in a country where a formal education is coveted, praised and respected, but too often denied to the masses, I realize how blessed I am and how very blessed my two sons are as well, to be formally educated. It is like salve being removed from the eyes and being able to see an old world through new eyes.
“When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And said unto him, go, wash in the pool of Siloam. He went his way therefore, and washed and came seeing.”
